IMPROV OLYMPIC (LA) & THE P.I.T. (NYC)
Teach the 10 Week D.I.Y No Budget Filmmaking Workshop. The classes (10-15 learners per class) collectively wrote, produced and directed a short film in 10 weeks. The workshop's goal was to show aspiring filmmakers that smart writing and pre-production helped keep short films inexpensive to produce. At the end, each class would screen films for invited guests.

I started by assisting in the production of an LA based reality TV show (The Hills) visiting New York City; providing location assistance, planning travel around traffic patterns, assisting gear check out and returns. I started with Fangoria as an intern and was hired as an associate producer at the end of the term. When they started a radio show on Sirius I was promoted to on-air producer and produced 100 episodes of Fangoria Radio w/ Dee Snider & Debbie Rochon. At the forefront of social media, I led efforts to foster brand loyalty on MySpace and Friendster as print media struggled.

I managed the nightly operations of a busy improv & comedy theater in New York City. Worked directly with the founder (Ali Farahnakian) to hire/train staff, promote shows with rising stars and promote comedy classes at The PIT's improv training center.

A team leader in the 3rd Infantry Division, I was in one of the most rapidly deployable units in the United States military. An expert marksman in the mechanized infantry, I was trained to drive, shoot & dismount from a Bradley Fighting Vehicle. Because of my efforts,at the Joint Readiness Training Center and Mount Peak, Battalion Command hand selected me for Leadership Reaction Courses at The School of The Americas & the Land Warrior program.
