Work History

I’m a man of many career paths. After high school I joined the US Army and have been in project/personnel management roles ever since. First in retail and sales, while moonlighting as a comedian and studying film; leading to a career full of dream jobs in creative production and advertising. After being recruited by Troops to Teachers in 2019, I spent five years teaching Art, History and English in New York City’s public schools. Steve Martin once said "teaching is the highest form of showbiz," and NYC's street savvy teenagers are the toughest audience. Somehow, I was able to maintain side hustles in yoga/wellness, creative consulting and some of my own creative ambitions. Previous clients include Fangoria Magazine, Sirius Radio, NBC/Universal, Brooklyn Nets, New York Islanders, MTV, Marvel/Sony, and Marvel/Netflix.

Career supported by a BFA from The School of Visual Arts' Advertising / Design program, an MFA in Creative Writing from National University, a number of professional certifications and an award winning short film.
